We were successful in lobbying MKCC & L&Q Estates (Now Urban & Civic) to provide a temporary convenience store for Whitehouse to plug the gap until the High Street and retail units are built. Our understanding at this stage is that a shop (larger than a Tesco Express but smaller than a supermarket) will be up and running around 2028.
At this stage the indicative layout includes:
- A community square
- A supermarket & car park
- Retail facilities, a pub, a nursery
- Care & extra care facilities
- Residential units (a mix of apartments and houses)
