We have been lobbying MKCC & L&Q to provide a temporary convenience store for Whitehouse. This should plug the gap until the supermarket & High Street are built. Our understanding at this stage is that the supermarket will open in late 2024/early 2025, and the High Street will be constructed in 2025.
Detailed planning applications will be submitted over the coming months, but at this stage the indicative layout includes:
- A community square
- A supermarket & car park
- Retail facilities, a pub, a nursery
- Care & extra care facilities
- Residential units (a mix of apartments and houses)
