  1. OUTGOING CHAIR’S WELCOME – The Chair to welcome all to the meeting.
  2. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
  3. ELECTION OF A CHAIR FOR 2025/2026 – The elected Chair to sign the declaration of office.
  4. APPOINTMENT OF A VICE-CHAIR FOR 2025/2026 – The Vice-Chair to sign the declaration of office.
  5. THE COUNCIL STRUCTURE 2025/2026 – The Council to consider any changes to the Council Structure and to agree the structure for 2025/2026
  6. APPOINTMENTS TO STANDING COMMITTEES 2025/2026 – To appoint membership of the Council’s Standing Committees for 2025/2026 in accordance with agreed constitution and Terms of Reference.
  7. APPOINTMENTS TO WORKING GROUPS 2025/2026
  • To establish and agree Terms of Reference for Working Groups in 2025/2026, including existing:
  • Facilities Working Group
  • Budget Working Group
  • Summer Family Fun Day Working Group
  • Diwali Working Group
  • Christmas Fayre Working Group
  • Chinese New Year Working Group
  • The Council to consider establishing other Working Groups.

 

  1. APPOINTMENTS TO OUTSIDE BODIES 2025/2026 – To agree Whitehouse Community Council representatives to outside bodies:

Parishes Forum – Up to 2 representatives

MKALC (Milton Keynes Association of Local Councils) – 1 representative

Public Art Steering Group – Up to 2 representatives

 

  1. DRAFT STANDING ORDERS 2025/2026 – To amend and adopt the Whitehouse Community Council Standing Orders for 2025/2026, including the Council’s Scheme of Delegated Authority. 2025-05-15_ITEM09_MODEL STANDING ORDERS (UPDATED)
  2. DRAFT FINANCIAL REGULATIONS 2025/2026 –  To adopt the Whitehouse Community Council Financial Regulations. 2025-05-15_ITEM10_DRAFT FINANCIAL REGULATIONS
  3. SUBSCRIPTIONS 2025/2026

          The Council to agree to pay subscriptions to:

  • BALC (Buckinghamshire Association of Local Councils) (includes a subscription to NALC (National Association of Local Councils).
  • SLCC (Society of Local Council Clerks) on the Clerk’s behalf
  • Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
  • MK Play Association
  1. SCHEDULE OF MEETINGS 2025/2026 – To agree and publish the Council’s Schedule of Ordinary meetings for 2023/2024 as:
